The Turks and Caicos Reef Fund was established to help preserve and protect the marine environment of the “Beautiful by Nature” Turks and Caicos Islands – an environment that draws so many visitors to these islands and is critical to the survival of the islands themselves. Our goal is to dedicate 85+% of all funds raised through this effort to marine conservation projects each year.
Potcake Place – ‘Potcake’ is the name given to the dogs of the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos Islands. The name came about because the locals fed the caked remains of the cooking pot to the dogs. The spay/neuter programs are not keeping up and the feral dog population of the islands is growing. Potcake Place is a service that rescues and provides homes for the dogs from around the islands. If you would like to donate or find out more information on how to help please visit www.potcakeplace.com
